Most of the time, errors occur because a player’s location services are not turned on. Try completing the following steps to ensure that your location services are on specifically for the game you are playing:
- Go into the Settings application on your device.
- Go into "Privacy" and then "Location Services".
- Enable the location services by checking off the box related to the game you are playing
